2011 - A bittersweet year.

Hello all. For my 400th post, I am going to do a 'Top 5 events that happened in 2011".

Yup, it's that time of the year again where I selectively choose the most memorable events that happened throughout the year.

Top 5 Events that happened in 2011:

5 - An awesome part time job that allows me to interact with people from all over the world and find out more about their country. These people that I meet inspires such wanderlust in me.

4 - Got sick for 1 whole month. Ikr. You guys are probably thinking, seriously? Why is it even memorable? Well, throughout my lifetime, I have never ever fallen sick that lasted for a month, so yeah, going through it was such a mother bitch. Oh god, the flu and the phlegm and the cough. Cringes.

3 - 3 weeks backpack trip to Vietnam.

I finally strike out one of my bucket list, which is to backpack. Traveled the whole of Vietnam, saw many interesting stuffs and made many new friends. Off course, this will not be my first and only backpacking trip. I make sure I save enough money to backpack other countries too and I want to do it solo. Go me!

2 - University.

Initially, I did got depressed over the fact that I was not able to enter a local university but, I got over that shit and got into an 'Overseas uni' in collaboration with the SG's tertiary education system. The stuffs I'm learning are interesting however, it feels so different having to memorise so many theory as compared to my poly days. In case some of you do not know, I made a huge leap from studying about airplanes in poly to majoring in the hospitality line in Uni. Honestly, I sort of missed doing many calculations and studying Physics. Oh well, got to make the best out of everything.

1 - Graduation.

Yep, I graduated early this year - after the 3 years worth of cracking my brains and 3 years of being stuck in a class/course of an unfair balance of testosterone over estrogen levels . I do miss the crazy and fun environment back in poly. There was the occasional stress to keep me company but on fridays, I get to meet the awesome people in green tees (yes, npob-ians, I am referring to you guys) and de-stress by having fun during trainings and going for camps!
